The Alfa Romeo Tipo B was the second single seat car that was specifically designed for the Grand Prix racing circuit. The car actually won all of the three major Grand Prix races in Italy, France and Germany. The car was designed by Vittorio Jano in Italy. This made the car a first among many aspects in the racing world. The popularity of the car was mainly because it was the first single seat race car, but it was also aided by the fact that the car won its first race that it ever competed.
