The Ford Mustang Mach I was the performance model of the Ford Mustang that first came into production in 1969, in which the concept version was orange and white. Engine wise, the Mach I came with a V8 engine that was standard. Those who wanted the ultimate of performance could choose to get the Mach I that sported a Ram Air and a Drag Pack, giving more performance than the other version of the Mach I. Horsepower wise, you are looking at getting around 250 horsepower, however, this may not be much compared to the many sports cars of today's, however, for the time it was fantastic. The higher performance model gave around 335 horsepower, which was a huge improvement over the standard Mach I. Overall, the Mach I is still considered a prestigious model of the Mustang to choose from and one that many people still want.
